AGTIV® FUEL™  SOYBEAN

AGTIV® FUEL™  SOYBEAN is a peat-based, inoculant containing the bacteria Bradyrhizobium japonicum. Available in both a liquid, and a granular formulation that can be used for precise in-furrow application.

AGTIV® FUEL™  G SOYBEAN  is a dual inoculant in granular form used for precise in-furrow application. It contains the endomycorrhizal fungi Glomus intraradices and the bacteria Bradyrhizobium japonicum.

  • Rhizobial inoculum: Bradyrhizobium japonicum- 1.9 x 108 viable cells/g

 

Storage and Handling

  • Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight
  • Do not freeze or expose to temperatures above 25°C (77°F)
  • Avoid severe temperature variation
  • Open package only when ready to use
  • Respect the best before date on the label

Application Rate-Granular

AGTIV® FUEL™  G SOYBEAN should be placed in the seed row. Apply at a rate of 4.5 kg/ha (4 lb/acre). One 18.2 kg (40 lb) bag covers 4 ha (10 acres) or one 364 kg (800 lb) bag covers 80 ha (200 acres).

  • We recommend calibrating the seeder before applying AGTIV® FUEL™  G SOYBEAN.
  • Do not mix the product with granular pesticides or fertilizers.
  • Flowability may be affected by conditions of high humidity.
  • To avoid flow problems, do not fill tank or seed cart completely.
  • Regularly check and clean metering system to ensure proper flow.
  • Do not fill boxes or tanks until ready to plant.
  • Remove any unused granules from the tank or the seed cart at the end of the day.

AGTIV® FUEL™  L SOYBEAN is a liquid inoculant used for precise in-furrow application. Developed with PTB162 technology, the product contains the bacteria Bradyrhizobium japonicum.

Active Ingredients-Liquid

  • Rhizobial inoculum: Bradyrhizobium japonicum- 8 x 109 viable cells/g

 

Storage and Handling

  • Store the product in cool place below 20°C (68°F).
  • Do not freeze or expose to intense heat.
  • Wearing safety goggles and gloves is recommended.

 

Application Rate-Liquid

In-Furrow Application - AGTIV Liquid Injection Kit

A bladder of 11 liters covers 16 ha (40 acres). This product should be applied using the AGTIV® Liquid Injection Kit, integrating a Dosatron® pump. It is easy to install on your existing in-furrow application system and operates off the main solution flow. Apply directly in the seed row at a rate of 690 ml/ha (275 ml/acre).

  • Ensure the tank and the liquid application system are clean and free of chemical residues.
  • Shake well before use and maintain a constant agitation in the tank during application.
  • Calibrate the application system to deliver the correct amount of inoculant.
  • Ensure the temperature of the diluted tank mix doesn’t exceed 22°C (72°F).
  • Apply within 6 hours after mixing into the tank.

 

In-Furrow Application - Tank mix

A bladder of 11 liters covers 16 ha (40 acres). The application rate is 690 ml/ha (275 ml/acre). Dilute the inoculant in the required volume of clean, non-chlorinated water. Refer to the chart below. Apply inoculant in the furrow, directly on the seed.

  • Open package only when ready to use.
  • Shake well before use and maintain a constant and effective agitation in the tank during application.
  • Calibrate the application system to deliver the correct amount of inoculant.
  • Ensure the tank and the liquid application system are clean and free of chemical residues.
  • Ensure the temperature of the diluted tank mix doesn’t exceed 25°C (77°F).
  • Apply within 6 hours following mix into the tank.
  • Respect the best before date on the label.
