Taurus Agricultural Marketing is pleased to announce the appointment of Spiro Verras, P.Ag., as the Agronomic Marketing Regional Manager for Central and Eastern Manitoba. In his new role, Spiro will bring his extensive knowledge and expertise to assist progressive growers in maximizing their yields and promoting sustainable agriculture practices in the region.

Spiro Verras is a dedicated Professional Agrologist with a deep passion for the vital role that Canadian growers play in feeding the world. His background and experiences make him a valuable addition to the Taurus team. Spiro holds a BA.Sc. in Agribusiness from the University of Manitoba, and his academic foundation is complemented by practical experience in both agronomy and agricultural technology. He also possesses a keen interest in econometrics, which he sees as a valuable tool for advancing the agricultural industry.

Having grown up on the outskirts of Winnipeg, MB, Spiro has an innate understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by farmers in the region. His diverse experiences span across multiple Canadian provinces, including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Southern Ontario. These experiences have given him insights into a wide array of farming practices and agricultural products.
