NLock 30% NBPT is a concentrated urease inhibitor formulated for maximum efficiency in protecting urea and UAN fertilizers from ammonia volatilization losses. With a higher concentration of NBPT than standard stabilizers, NLock 30% delivers robust nitrogen protection while requiring lower application volumes — simplifying handling, blending, and logistics. How It Works

NBPT (N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide) inhibits the urease enzyme that rapidly converts urea into ammonium carbonate. By blocking this reaction, NLock 30% prevents the release of ammonia gas from surface-applied fertilizers. This extends the window for rainfall or irrigation to move urea safely into the soil profile for plant uptake.

Application Guidelines

Target Fertilizers: Urea, UAN. Recommended Application: Typically 1.5–2.5 liters per metric tonne of urea, depending on environment and fertilizer type.
