PKpluS is your five in one solution for high performance nutrition.

PKpluS delivers a targeted analysis of 0-24-6 +15.4Ca-1.8Mg-9.1S supplying five essential nutrients in every granule.

With PKpluS, growers apply phosphorus and potassium alongside sulfur, calcium, and magnesium in a single efficient pass, improving nutrient placement, uptake, and logistics at seeding.

All potassium is supplied in the sulfate form, delivering immediately available sulfur and supporting improved crop response across a wide range of crops and soil conditions.

PKpluS is designed for strong early phosphorus availability, balanced with potassium and sulfur for season long efficiency, crop uniformity, and yield formation.

ICL PKpluS is your five-in-one solution for high-performance nutrition

ICL PKpluS is our line of PK (phosphorus and potassium) granulated fertilizers based on Polysulphate, containing five nutrients.

The application of an ICL PKpluS formulation allows farmers to apply phosphorus and potassium along with sulfur, magnesium, and calcium in a single operation.

A considerable proportion of the potassium content is in sulfate (SO4) form (20–35%), allowing flexible use in many crops.

ICL PKpluS is available in a variety of formulae grouped into three types:

  1. high phosphorus for best plant establishment
  2. balanced phosphorus and potassium for a balanced and efficient nutrient supply, and
  3. high potassium for extra crop quality.

Tailor-made ICL PKpluS fertilizers with additional micronutrients are available by request.

Stress-Free Plant Nutrition Starts Here

Seedling stress at planting is one of the most overlooked yield limiters. High salt fertilizers can create osmotic stress, causing dehydration at germination, delayed emergence, uneven stands, and permanent yield loss. PKpluS solves this problem. With its ultra-low salt index, PKpluS allows you to safely place vital nutrients near or with the seed, providing early access to phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, calcium, magnesium, boron, and zinc — without compromising seed health. Stop bringing stress to plants early. With PKpluS, critical nutrients support the seed — not fight against it, enhancing your fertility program.

The Power of a Single Prill

PKpluS combines three sources of phosphorus with Polysulphate Premium into a single prill. This ensures perfect nutrient distribution across the field, eliminates segregation issues common with traditional blends, and improves spreadability and precision placement, optimizing your granular fertility.

What Is Polyhalite

Polyhalite is a naturally occurring mineral, not a manufactured blend. ICL mines it at Boulby Mine in North Yorkshire, England, more than 1,200 metres below the surface and out under the North Sea. It is crushed, screened and bagged with no chemical processing, which is why it carries a low carbon footprint. ICL is the first and only producer in the world mining polyhalite, marketed as Polysulphate.

One crystal holds sulphur, potassium, calcium and magnesium together. That matters because the sulphate sits in several different compounds inside that crystal rather than as a single soluble salt. Some is available immediately. The rest releases across 50 to 90 days, tracking crop demand instead of the first heavy rain. That is the mechanism behind season long feeding.

Polyhalite granules
Polyhalite, a single natural crystal holding four nutrients. Mined at Boulby, North Yorkshire, more than 1,200 metres down and out under the North Sea.
  • Season long sulphate. Still releasing at 50 pore volumes where ammonium sulphate, sulphate of potash and kieserite are finished inside 20.
  • Less leaching loss. Multiple sulphate compounds mean less sulphur moving past the root zone early.
  • Four nutrients, one source. Sulphur, potassium, calcium and magnesium arrive together in the same place at the same time.
  • Naturally low salt. Low chloride and neutral pH, which is what makes seed row placement practical.
  • Better nitrogen use. Sulphur partners with nitrogen to build protein and enzymes, lifting nitrogen use efficiency, oil and protein.
  • Partial chloride replacement. Potassium delivered without the full chloride load of muriate of potash.

Gradual Release To Meet Peak Demand

University of Nottingham, UK, 2016, measured how fast granular sulphate sources release. Ammonium sulphate, sulphate of potash and kieserite were effectively finished inside the first 20 pore volumes. Polysulphate was still releasing at 50. Sulphur applied is not sulphur used, and the difference shows up at flowering.

Sized To Blend, Built To Spread

Nearly nine granules in ten sit in the 2 to 4 mm band, with almost nothing in the fines. That is what keeps a blend from segregating on the belt, in the tank and across the spread pattern.

What Is Actually In The Bag

Cost per tonne is the wrong number. What matters is what the tonne carries. Set your own nutrient values below, then see what PKpluS delivers and what it would cost to build the same analysis out of straight goods.

Build It Yourself

Here is what it takes to put the same five nutrients on the ground without PKpluS.

The shopping list

  1. A phosphate source for the P, which also forces nitrogen into the blend
  2. Potash for the K, which brings a full chloride load with it
  3. Ammonium sulphate or elemental S for the sulphur
  4. Gypsum or a calcium product for the Ca
  5. Kieserite or K-Mag for the Mg

What it costs you beyond the invoice

  • Five products to source, freight, store and stage
  • Five particle sizes that segregate in the tank and streak the field
  • Nitrogen you did not choose, at a rate you did not set
  • Higher blended salt load and chloride beside the seed
  • Sulphate that is fully available at once, then gone
  • Calcium and magnesium that are difficult to buy in a seed placed granular form at all

PKpluS is one product, one granule, and every granule carries all five nutrients.

Key Features and Benefits
