ARM U™ 18% NBPT is a urease inhibitor designed to protect urea-based fertilizers from ammonia volatilization losses. By temporarily blocking the urease enzyme responsible for rapid urea breakdown, ARM U™ helps ensure more nitrogen stays available for crop uptake during critical early growth stages. How It Works
NBPT (N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide) slows the conversion of urea into ammonium carbonate, preventing the quick release of ammonia gas into the atmosphere. This gives rainfall or irrigation more time to move urea into the soil, where plants can access it. The protection window lasts approximately 7–14 days, depending on weather and soil conditions.

Application Guidelines
